So often I hear from homeowners that they have gone to several builders for ideas and prices but not found them all that helpful or creative. It’s not surprising because that’s not really their job – it’s mine.
It’s impossible to compare quotes from builders without a full set of construction plans. One builder will be quoting for one thing and another for a completely different understanding of your brief.
Often people come to me after going around the houses to builders and even other ‘architects’, who are very often unqualified and not registered to use the protected title of architect. They come away despondent and I have to start again to inject some enthusiasm into their project. I help them see what’s possible and what will be the best value for money in terms of improvement to their quality of life and return on investment.
If you’ve come to a dead end with your project or don’t know where to start, I’d love to help. Just ping me a message or head to the ‘book now’ page to book a free discovery call.
