I’m Carrie, the architect behind Hampshire Architect in Netley Abbey near Southampton. I help people across southern Hampshire decide whether to move or improve, creating beautiful practical spaces that work for real family life.
As a mum of two myself, I know homes need to work well and not just look good on social media. Most of my work happens around kitchen tables with sketch paper, coffee and lots of honest conversations, which I love.
A lot of the people I work with know something doesn’t work in their home anymore, maybe they need more usable space, better flow, more light or connection with the garden. They often ask me if I have a magic wand – luckily I keep one handy! I can help see what’s possible with their home and even compare it to a house they may be considering buying. I also offer accompanied estate agent viewings and often work with people who have just moved into a new house and want to turn it into their forever home.
