Extension and Renovation, Southsea

This project was designed in close consultation with the planning officer and both adjoining neighbours. The rear of the Victorian terraced house was mostly single-skin brickwork and in a bad state of repair. The decision was taken to demolish this element and rebuild to create a new kitchen-dining room with new bathroom tucked away internally. Sunlight is brought in through the garden facade and large contemporary style rooflights.

Hampshire Architect worked with Moore Construction (Southern) Ltd and the customer to create a bright eclectic kitchen-dining and entertaining space. This has given the house a new lease of life, within a tight budget, much to the customer’s delight!
